Mother And Daughter Found Dead

• {Hamlin, West Virginia}...Police in Lincoln County are investigating after Rebecca Sue May, 37, and her daughter, 9 year old Mackenzie Gene Haynes, both of Hamlin, were found dead inside a car in a creek along W.Va. 34 near the Putnam County border about 9:00 P.M. Monday night. Police say the mother and daughter were both wearing seatbelts, and alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor. Police are attempting to determine the time of the crash and what caused it.
