Prison Inmate Indicted

{Beckley, West Virginia}...Forty-one year old Elisha Riggleman, an inmate at the Metropolitan Corrections Center in New York, is facing charges of threatening a correctional officer and his family and witness tampering. An indictment says that, in December 2010, while Riggleman was an inmate at the Federal Corrections Institution in Beckley, he threatened to kidnap and assault a Federal Bureau of Prisons officer and to assault and kill the officer's wife and child. Riggleman also is charged with threatening four people this year in an attempt to influence their testimony. If convicted of all charges, Riggleman faces 100 years in prison.
