Tim Manchin Considers Congressional Run

{Charleston, West Virginia}...Voters in West Virginia's 1st Congressional District may be asked to vote next fall for U.S. Senator Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., and his cousin, State House Delegate Tim Manchin, D-Marion. Tim Manchin said Tuesday he is considering a run for Congress, and he and Senator Joe Manchin plan to discuss it over the holidays. Former state Senator Mike Oliverio announced late last week that he did not plan to run against one-term Representative David McKinley, to whom he narrowly lost in 2010. Sue Thorn, a former field organizer for the party, also will vy for the Democratic nomination.
