Man Pleads Guilty To Sexual Charge

• {Huntington, West Virginia}...Otis C. Adkins, 60, of Branchland, pleaded guilty Monday to traveling across state lines with intent to engage in sexual conduct with a teenage girl. Police say Adkins traveled from Branchland, West Virginia to Ashland, Kentucky on July 13th after he and the supposed teenager had developed an Internet relationship in which Adkins made his intentions clear as the two engaged in sexually explicit dialogue. However, the 15 year old girl turned out to be an undercover officer with the Ashland Police Department. Adkins and the undercover officer had been chatting via the Internet since June 28th. Sentencing is set for March 5, 2012.
