Romney Announces WV Campaign Team

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has announced his 2012 seventy-six member campaign steering committee for West Virginia. Romney is touting more than 75 endorsements from Mountain State Republicans well in advance of the state's May 8th primary. The list includes 14 county GOP chairs and several legislators and other elected officials. Bill Phillips will head Romney's West Virginia campaign. Phillips chaired President George W. Bush’s 2000 West Virginia campaign and served as chief of staff to former governor Cecil H. Underwood. He also aided Romney's 2008 campaign in the state.
