Deputies Investigating Home Invasion
{Shrewsbury, West Virginia}...Kanawha County Deputies were called at 11:30 A.M. Sunday following a home invasion at the home of Bobby and Barbara Hodge on Ferry Street in Shrewsbury. The Hodges told deputies a man entered their home, brandished a black semiautomatic handgun and demanded cash. Bobby Hodge surrendered $250 from his wallet. The suspect then saw medicine that belonged to Barbara Hodge and demanded that too. The suspect then set his weapon down to get tape to bind the victims. Bobby Hodge fought back at that point, and the suspect fled the home. The suspect was described as about 5-foot, 8-inches tall, wearing a black ski mask black and silver Nike athletic shoes, jeans and a gray jacket. He was carrying a black and red backpack.
