{Charleston, West Virginia}...Charleston Police are beginning 2012 by analyzing newly collected evidence from the unsolved slaying of 28 year old Megan Kathleen Harrison who was found floating in the Elk River on August 27, 2011. Charleston Police Sgt. Bobby Eggleton says the investigation got off to a slow start because the river destroyed most of the DNA evidence, but recently collected evidence has been sent to a lab for testing. Eggleton says that evidence should be analyzed within the next few months, and hopefully it will bring police closer to a suspect.
