Accused Bank Robber Pleads Not Guilty

{Charleston, West Virginia}…Joseph Dempsey, 31, pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Kanawha Circuit Court after being accused of robbing the Fifth Third Bank on MacCorkle Avenue in Charleston last June. He allegedly walked into the bank, ordered tellers to the floor and took off with a handful of money. Dempsey remains in jail on a $150,000 bond for the bank robbery and other unrelated charges.
