Woman Sentenced For Failure To Register

{Huntington, West Virginia}…Forty-two year old Tammy L. Payton of Crum has been sentenced to one year in federal prison with 10 years of supervised release after pleading guilty in August to violating the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act by failing to update her sex offender registration when she moved from Ohio to West Virginia in 2007. Payton was convicted in 2001 of complicity to commit rape and kidnapping of a minor child younger than 13 years old.
