Police are investigating the murder of 39 year old Clinton
"Blue" Green whose body was found in the middle of the road on Charleston's West Side.
Chief of Detectives Lt. Steve Cooper says Green was shot several
times near 924 Main
Street before 2:00 A.M. Wednesday morning. Cooper
says Green had a criminal history and was well known by the Charleston Police
Department. According to court documents, Green had a court date scheduled for
early January 2013. Green's death is the sixth homicide in Charleston so far this year.
