Pastor Beaten By Intruder

{Marmet, West Virginia}…Police have arrested Charles Galloway and charged him with malicious assault, daytime burglary and fleeing on foot after he allegedly beat a Marmet pastor. Police say Pastor Charles Watson and his wife Nancy returned home around 2:00 P.M. Friday and noticed their dog was acting unusual. Watson noticed the door leading upstairs from the basement entrance was open and went upstairs to check and make sure everything was all right and that's when Galloway struck him four to five times in the face with a wooden club. Watson was also hit in the arms while trying to keep Galloway from hitting him. Watson was taken to CAMC, where he was treated and released.
