{Minden, West Virginia}...About
1:04 A.M. Thursday morning, Fayette County Sheriff's Deputies were called to
reports of a home invasion and one shooting victim at a home in Minden. Jorail Giddings,
21, of Detroit, was found shot and Christopher
Andrew Jackson, 23, also of Detroit,
had been hit in the head several times with a handgun. Deputies learned three
masked men had forced their way in and confronted the homeowners. Giddings and
Jackson were visiting the homeowners. Giddings was taken to PlateauMedicalCenter in Oak Hill and then later to CAMC GeneralHospital, where he was listed in stable
condition Thursday night. Jackson was treated at
PlateauMedicalCenter
and released.
