Miner Injured

{Cabin Creek, West Virginia}…A miner was injured at Speed Mining in the Cabin Creek area of Kanawha County around 8:30 A.M. Tuesday morning. Speed Mining Inc. is based out of Dawes, West Virginia and is owned by Patriot Coal. The Office of Miners Health, Safety and Training says Harold Miller of Danville suffered a leg injury when he was pinned between a scoop and the wall of the mine.
