Stabbing In Charleston

{Charleston, West Virginia}...Twenty year old Erique Harris of Charleston was taken into custody and charged with malicious wounding after he allegedly stabbed his ex-girlfriend during a fight early Sunday morning at a home on Wertz Avenue and Kanawha Boulevard in Charleston. When police arrived they found a woman with cuts on her forearm. The woman told police Harris stabbed her, sexually assaulted her and then fled on foot. Police were able to catch up with Harris and arrest him a short time after the incident. Police also were able to find the knife used in the stabbing.
