{Charleston,
West Virginia}...The process of Suddenlink Communications transferring control
of it's franchise with the city of Charleston to Nespresso Acquisition
Corporation has been approved by the Council Committee on Cable Television.
Suddenlink first applied for the application for control transfer on July 31,
2012. A public hearing was held Wednesday night at the Charleston City Hall
in which residents were allowed to attend and ask questions or raise any
concerns they might have regarding the process, but no one came out to the
hearing. Committee Chairman Jack Harrison says Suddenlink Communications is
changing some equity partners and transferring control and to do that they need
to go through the process of getting approval from the committee and the
Charleston City Council. The Charleston City Council will vote Monday.
