Police Chase Ends In Arrest

{Gilbert, West Virginia}…Police say Steve Fortner attempted to steal gas and sell drugs at a Speedway in Gilbert, and then was caught speeding, going south on U.S. 52. When police attempted to stop Fortner, he led them on a chase into Wyoming County and over into McDowell County, where he lost control of his car in Panther State Forest after hitting a rock cliff. Police say Fortner has a previous record that is some 10 pages long.
