Kidnapped Woman And Child Returned To Home

A woman and child who were kidnapped in Calhoun County about 10:30 Thursday night were returned to their home about 2:15 A.M. Wednesday morning. West Virginia State Police say 30 year old Joesph Paul Kute went to a home on Tipton Road, kicked in the door and then took his ex-girlfriend and their child. Kute told police that he took the woman and their baby to several other friends' houses, but when no one was home, they finally returned to the house where the woman was staying. Kute was arrested and charged with two counts of domestic battery, burglary and child endangerment.
