{Chapmanville, West Virginia}...West Virginia State Police
have arrested 36 year old Gary Terry and charged him with the murder of his
wife, 39 year old Caren Blankenship. State
Police say, early Sunday morning, a call was made to 911 that Blankenship had
possibly overdosed at the Roadway Inn in Chapmanville. She was taken to CharlestonAreaMedicalCenter,
where she died Sunday eveningafter
receiving a severe head injury. Police got involved when Blankenship’s
brother visited CharlestonAreaMedicalCenter. Police say the
couple had been arguing during a night of drinking. Terry is claiming
self-defense, saying his wife fell during the dispute.
