Former Candidate Indicted
{Procious,
West Virginia}... A Clay County grand
jury has indicted former 2006 U.S. Senate and 2004 West Virginia Attorney
General candidate Hiram Lewis on malicious wounding, domestic assault and
wanton endangerment involving a firearm. Lewis was arrested after police say he
shot Stephen Bogart at a residence in Procious.
Lewis says Bogart was breaking into his home at
the time of the shooting, but Bogart says he lived there. An arraignment
is set for November 14th.
