Earthquake Tremors Felt In Kanawha Valley


{Charleston, West Virginia}…A 4.3 magnitude earthquake, with an epicenter in Whitesburg, Kentucky, approximately 111 miles southwest of Charleston, was felt around the Kanawha Valley shortly after noon Saturday. The National Weather Service in Charleston said no damage was reported, but residents in Kanawha, Boone Lincoln and Jackson Counties felt the tremors, and, in Putnam County, there were items shaken off shelves.
