Beer Gets Man Arrested

{Malden, West Virginia}…Twenty year old Bilal M. Lyles of Malden has been charged with shoplifting, carrying a concealed weapon, obstructing an officer and fleeing after he tried to steal two cans of beer from the FasChek in Malden Tuesday. A deputy arrived at the store shortly after Lyles pointed a gun at people in the store after being confronted by store employees. When the deputy gave multiple orders for Lyles to show his hands, Lyles fled to his house two blocks away. Deputies surrounded the house and called in the SWAT Team. After several minutes, Lyles surrendered. Lyles had recently been arrested after a similar incident at the Gabriel Brothers' Store in Kanawha City.
