Accident Kills Elkview Teen

• {West Virginia}...Preston Kerns, 17, from Elkview, died at the scene of a two-car accident which occurred on Elk River Road in Clendenin around 11:30 P.M. Tuesday night. Kanawha County Sheriff’s Deputies say Amy Scoggan, 34, from Glen was driving a pickup truck when Kerns pulled onto the road, into the path of Scoggan’s truck, causing a collision with the driver’s side of his car. Scoggan received no injuries in the accident, and Kerns’ passenger, 21 year old Amanda Rose from Elkview received minor injuries.
