{West Virginia}...Bond was set at $40,000 Monday morning for Jesus Canul, 26, of Logan, the man charged with the August 22nd murder of 37 year old David Abbott. Logan Police say Abbott approached Canul in the parking lot outside Logan Walmart and robbed him. As Abbott walked away, Canul pulled out a gun and shot Abbott in the head. Members of the Omar Area Crime Watch group staged a rally Monday at the Logan County courthouse to support Canul, saying he acted in self defense. Canul has a preliminary hearing scheduled in Logan County Magistrate Court Thursday.
