{West Virginia}...Sixty-two year old Ernest J. Vance Sr. of Verdunville has been sentenced to 46 months in prison, while his son, Ernest J. Vance Jr., 35, was sentenced to 57 months in prison, both for aiding in the distribution of Oxycodone. Vance Jr. admitted he and another person sold two 40-milligram Oxycodone pills to an informant for the U.S. 119 Task Force on September 18, 2009 for $110. Both told investigators they sold pills to informants at several different locations and only kept a small amount at their home in case law enforcement arrived. The two are responsible for distributing more than 5,000 and as many as 18,000 Oxycontin pills in and around Logan County.
