Death of Woman Found in Elk River "Suspicious"

• (Charleston, WV) - The parents of 28 year old Megan Harrison, whose body was pulled from the Elk River in Charleston Saturday morning are looking for answers. Police are awaiting autopsy results to determine the exact cause of death, but have told Megan's parents that her death is definitely "suspicious". Preliminary examinations on Saturday do, however, indicate that Harrison's body had been in the water for less than 12 hours, and it looked as if she had been attacked. Police are hoping to have more answers early this week.
