Poca Man Faces Child Pornography Charge

• {West Virginia}...After nearly 16 months of investigation, William Burt Shingleton of Poca, a 43 year old father of three under age 15, was arrested Wednesday afternoon and charged with 20 counts of possession of child pornography. Putnam County Sheriff's Sgt. Ryan Lockhart says, after receiving a complaint in April 2010, he obtained a search warrant through Putnam Circuit Court, executed it on Shingleton and seized several items of digital media  computer equipment. All of the computer gear was analyzed by the FBI, which confirmed investigators' suspicions and led to Shingleton being arrested and taken to the Western Regional Jail in Barboursville where his bond is set at $250,000.
