Mingo County Boy Bitten

• {West Virginia}...Police have sent pictures to the Division of Natural Resources so they can determine what bit Rudy Varney, a 7 year old boy from Mingo County, while he was swimming in the Atlantic Ocean in Myrtle Beach around noon Sunday. The boy's brother pulled him out of the water, and he was taken to a nearby hospital after a muscle in his right leg was torn. Myrtle Beach lifeguards believe Varney may have been bitten by a sand shark.
