(Charleston, WV) - West Virginia officials say unemployment rates in July went down in all 55 counties. Those figures released today say the rates ranged from 4.8% in Monongalia County to a high of 13% in Mason County. Overall, the state average unemployment rate fell from 8.6% in June ot 7.4% in July.
