Teacher Faces Sex Charge

• {West Virginia}...Maurice White, 61, of Rand, a retired music teacher from Gauley Bridge Elementary in Fayette County, has been arrested by West Virginia State Police for allegedly engaging in sexual conduct with a 14 year old girl on multiple occasions. White is charged with sexual abuse by a custodian and child pornography. White not only admitted to having the relationship, but he also had more than 100 pieces of child pornography in his home in Rand. Police say, recently, White was a substitute teacher at Valley High School where he was reconnected with the alleged victim. According to reports, police found out about the relationship when the girl told her parents she was in love with her teacher. Additional warrants against White will be filed in Fayette County. White will be back in court on September 7th.
