Hearing Delayed For Boone County Teacher

  • {West Virginia}...A preliminary hearing in the case against Jack Turley, a Boone County teacher accused of smoking meth at school was postponed Friday after the magistrate assigned to hear the case removed himself. Turley is charged with smoking meth at the Boone County Career and Technical Center. Principal Keith Phipps and Turley were arrested in May on charges that they made and smoked meth during the school year inside the technical center. The center was closed in mid-July after meth residue was found.
