Guilty Verdict In Wayne County Murder Case

{West Virginia}...Thirty-seven year old James Marcum will be sentenced August 26th after a Wayne County  jury found him  guilty Friday of 2nd degree murder in the death of James Ward, 62, of Crum. Ward was found dead at his home on Jennies Creek in December 2009. Investigators say he died as the result of a stabbing or blunt force trauma. Kentucky State Police arrested Marcum at a hospital in Louisa shortly after Ward’s body was found.
