Virginia Woman Slams Into WV Employees

• {West Virginia}...Thirty-one year old Contessa Lail of Pocahontas, Virginia is facing charges after Mercer County Sheriff's Deputies say she sped her vehicle through the parking lot of the Southview Mall in Bluewell, West Virginia, bounced up over the sidewalk and hit a picnic table outside a Kroger store Sunday afternoon. Four Kroger employees who were on a break were taken to an area hospital after being hit. Lail, who told police that the vehicle's brakes failed, was charged with reckless driving, second offense driving on a suspended license and several other offenses.
