Huntington Wins PetSafe Bark For Your Park Contest

  • {West Virginia}...Huntington learned Friday it has won the PetSafe Bark for Your Park contest, a $100,000 prize that will be used to build a dog park at Ritter Park. Huntington got 87,000 votes to win over Lynchburg, Virginia, who were in close contention, trading positions at the top spot among the 15 finalists during the three-week voting period. Lynchburg City Council has already agreed to start a public dog park if citizens can raise the money for the necessary equipment and infrastructure.
