Wanton Endangerment Charges Against St. Albans Man

(St. Albans)  Police in St. Albans have arrested Wallace Lee Jackson, 24, of St. Albans for one count of Wanton Endangerment. His wife issued a statement to officers in which she said Jackson threw her purse on the roof of their home in the 2000 block of Grant Avenue on Friday night.  She also said he hit and choked her. During the night she told officers that Jackson put a gun to her head and threatened to shoot her several times.  Jackson is also accused of hitting is mother-in-law, Diana Deane, and an unrelated juvenile who does not live in the home.  The St. Albans Police Department obtained a search warrant and searched the residence. According to officers, they recovered a handgun inside the home.  Jackson was arrested without further incident on the Wanton Endangerment charge, a felony. Additional charges of two counts of Domestic Battery and one count of Battery are will be added later.
