{West Virginia}...Charleston Police and Kanawha County Sheriff's Deputies have confirmed a search along Hunter Road near Charleston is part of an ongoing investigation. Multiple reports indicate police could be looking for evidence connected to the 2003 sniper-style shootings in Kanawha County. In April, police spent several days searching for the murder weapon and a pickup truck on property in Sissonville. Shawn Lester, 36, is currently behind bars indicted for the sniper killings, but police have yet to recover a murder weapon. Investigators say they believe the same gun was used in all three murders.
