Storms Leave An Impact Across West Virginia
{West Virginia}...Storms left an impact across West Virginia this weekend. Bad weather, and rain delays, put a damper on playing to the last second to find a true winner of the Friends of Coal Bowl at Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown. After more than four hours of delays, the game, which kicked off at 3:30 P.M., was called at 10:25 P.M. Sunday night with the West Virginia University Mountaineers pulling out ahead of the Marshall University Thundering Herd, 34-13. Kanawha County Emergency Management says Kanawha County is under a flash flood watch until Wednesday morning. Officials are reminding drivers not to cross flooded roadways or go through flooded streams, and they're also suggesting keeping an emergency supply kit with you for water and medications in case you get stranded.
